Rules and Regulations

• Entry to the Library is permitted with ID card only.
• Members are requested to leave their bags in the property counter.
• Use of edibles are strictly prohibited inside the library
• On leaving the library, all users are requested to extend their cooperation for the inspection of all books and items taken out of the library.
• Overdue charges will be applicable for books returned after the due date.
• If an issued book is lost / damaged it has to be replaced as per the SCT norms.
• Members are requested to make use of digital library only for online educational resources. Do not install or uninstall any program or service in any computer.
• Strict and absolute silence shall be observed in the Library.
• Reference books, Newspapers, Magazines, Journals should not be taken out. However overnight issue is available for selected reference books.
• Any kind of marking, underlining, clipping of books is absolutely forbidden. Readers shall be held responsible for any damage done to the book belonging to the Library and shall be required to replace such book or pay the value thereof.
• Speaking on mobile phones inside the library is strictly prohibited.
