On 3rd July 2019, Our Sona NSS wing conducted various events for World Population Day. Around 60 students and 40 NSS volunteers were participated in this event. This event started at 10:30 a.m. Our volunteers guided all the participants to reach their respective venue and clearly explain all the details about the event. Various events like Essay Writing, Speech, and Drawing were conducted and the staff involved was Mrs. Renuga (H.O.D) of English deportment, Mrs. Kanchana Mala, Dr S. Anita Ashokan and Ms. Kalaivani. We conducted this event as per the order of Salem district collector. Through this event we created awareness about the population control among the participants. The event was successfully ended by 1:00 p.m.
