Our SONA NSS team, in association with Southern Railway employees, organized a rally to raise awareness about Swachh Bharat on July 18, 2019. We were accompanied to Salem Junction by the station manager, station officers, and a police patrol. This event drew approximately 80 volunteers. We pledged to keep Swachh Bharat clean and the world clean. The station’s workers emphasized the importance of keeping the station clean. The police officers provided us with details about the toll numbers that are accessible for safety purposes. Through this rally, we received brief details about the UTS application, which is available on mobile phones, and our volunteers assisted the staff in cleaning a specific area.
