We conducted plastic awareness on the seventh day of our special camp (i.e., 11.02.2019) in the village of Kanagagiri and Gudalur in the morning. By explaining the consequences of plastic use, we built awareness for the village people and we also collected non-disposable plastics from the village houses. One day, farming was carried out in the village of Gudalur for our students. A local farmer explained about groundnut, onion, cotton and horse grain cultivation. Some farming experiences were acquired by our students. The cultural program for the village people was organized during the afternoon session, where our volunteers displayed their talents in the form of dance, singing, drama and encouragement. There were excited farmers. They promoted the success of our students. Mr. P. Iyyanar and Mr. P. Jayaprakash, our NSS Program Officer, honored our village’s great supporters, Mr. Srinivasan and Mrs. Sumathi, by giving them a moment.
