About The Conference
Smart textiles are intelligent textile structures or fabrics that can sense and react to environmental stimuli, which may be mechanical, thermal, chemical, biological, and magnetic amongst others Smart wearable textile’ becomes a major segment of electronic-textiles (e-textiles) along with smart clothing and information science (wearable computer). Since its invention in the 1960s by the American firm DuPont, the synthetic fibre Lycra, or Spandex as it is known in America, is one of the most used smart fabrics and has been widely utilized, due to its exceptional elasticity, in the sport and fashion market.

Smart clothing can help keep track of the physical operations of a person and control vital levels, equivalent to other IoT devices.  Textile sensors have many advantages over conventional electronic sensors. The National Conference on, “Emerging trends in Smart Fabrics and Wearable Technology” is a collaborative effort dedicated to bringing together a diverse range of thought-provoking events from young scientists, researchers,  academicians and industry specialists to present their results and research work to develop new products and find solutions to global concerns relating to smart clothing and wearable technology. It will provide an opportunity for a research facts exchange, skill, experience, and knowledge sharing relevant to members, departments, and industries of the textile and fashion field, present and past and its environs. It sought to achieve together a varied group of professionals and young researchers to collaborate and apply their skills, creative approaches, and research findings to all aspects of creativity and innovation in the areas of smart apparel and wearable, as well as to examine practical challenges and goals. The conference will comprise keynote speakers from industry and academic experts, along with presentations of research and review papers by academic and industry researchers and a panel discussion. With its top-notch, it gives an excellent incentive to researchers, academicians for presenting, listening, and knowledge sharing.
