INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual discipline or practice that has its origins in India. Yoga develops inner awareness. It focuses your attention on your body’s abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. It is not about physical appearance. The day of 21st June was suggested by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in address to the UN because it is the longest day of the year. A total of 170 cadets were participated in this activity held at Little Flower Higher Secondary School, 4 roads, Salem.

We the troop of 29 cadets were practiced yoga day by doing Yoga asanas like Vrikshasana, Utkatasana and much more asanas. We did yoga for one and half hours from 7 AM TO 8:30 AM. We learned how to control our mind by practising yoga on daily basics which will improve our life. All cadets were did yoga includes Asanas, Mudras, Surya namaksaram, Meditation and so on. Yoga is the powerful tool to deal with the stress of uncertainity and isolation, as well as to maintain physical well being. It helps the people to focus on the goal and achieve the success in their life.
