Department of Fashion Technology, Sona College of Technology, Salem, inaugurated FIYOS club in the at “SONAFTA 2018” at the college campus on 20.08.18. Dr. S.R.R.Senthil Kumar, Principal, and Dr.M.Usha, Sr. Dean I &CE, Sona College of Technology, Salem, inaugurated the FIYOS club.
The first event of FIYOS club is “Design Expo” in which fashion technology department students exhibited their innovative works.
In this design expo, 28 teams displayed the garments of ladies wear, kids wear of their own design, 11 teams displayed the accessories produced by them such as Silk thread jewellery, Accessories made out of waste, accessories with fashion related materials like earphones, hairpins, buttons and 3 teams displayed their innovative projects such as Hand made soaps, Wickability concept, Tie and dye designs.
