Sona College of Technology conducted Freshers Day2017 on Friday August 11th in an ostentatious way. The programme commenced at 10.00am. Principal Dr. M. Usha, delivered the welcome address. Guests of Honour, Mr. Lawrence Mohanraj, Country Leader, DGM, Academic Initiatives, India and South Asia, IBM, delivered the Inaugural Address. The Special Address was given by Vice-Chairmen, Mr. Chocko Valliappa, and Mr. Thyagu Valliappa. Mr. M. Ganesh, Senior Architect, DBA, TCS, Chennai, presented the keynote address. Sona’s elite alumnus, Mr. K. Baskar, Manager, Software Development, Sabre Travel Technologies, Bengaluru, addressed the gathering. Felicitation Address was given by Dr. V. Jayaprakash, Director- Industry Connect. Presidential Address was given by Chairman Mr. C. Valliappa. Freshers Day programme came to an end by 1.25pm.
