Civil Department on CARVE 18 & PROJECT EXPO 18

The Department of Civil Engineering organized the National Level Technical Symposium CARVE 2k18 in association with ICI and IEI. The program was grandly inaugurated by the eminent chief guest Er.M.Kumar, Tamil Nadu Police Housing Corporation Ltd, along with Head of the Department Dr.R.Malathy, Principal Dr.S.R.R.Senthikl Kumar and Mr.Sriram, Founder and Chairman Prayojana Construction Management Training Institute. Students from various colleges like Excel Engineering colleges, Knowledge institute, Kongu Engineering College and from various other colleges took part in this Symposium.  Dr.R.Malathy welcomed the gathering and gave her insights about the future to Civil Engineering followed by the presidential address of Principal Dr.S.R.R.Senthil Kumar and he spoke to how students should train themselves to current trends and developments in the fields of Civil Engineering. He also mentioned how students innovatively made their projects during Project Expo 2k18 and congratulated the efforts made by students.

A short recap of all the projects displayed in Project Expo was given and followed by the release of souvenir of the Project Expo 2k18. The symposium was also planned for another right occasion of signing the MoU between Sona College of Technology and Prayojana Construction Management Training Institute. The MoU signing was successfully done by both the parties towards maintain the same goals of students development and Placement. Finally the Man of the day Er.Kumar addressed the gathering and shared his experience working with Tamil Nadu Police Housing Corporation Ltd. He shared his experience in working as Chief Engineer in Puzhal Central Prison and shared how he gained his experience travelling worldwide. The inauguration ended with a strong message to students to how a Dream can change an individual’s life like Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam quoted.
