- Received “AICTE - LILAVATHI AWARD - 2020” for ‘Women Entrepreneur’ and ‘Sanitary and Hygiene’.
- Received AICTE – CII Award 4 times (2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020) now elevated as Mentor for Institution (Mentor Award Winner).
- The department has developed a detail Strategic plan for its overall development. Strategic Plan I, (2007 -09); Strategic Plan II, (2009 -12), Strategic plan (2013 – 18) and (2019 – 22)
- The department students fetched the 25 university rank holders have graduated from our department so far, 14 from the four BSc (AFT) batches and 11 from the three batches of B.Tech TT (FT)
